The Magaroo vision was born during Lockdown 2020. It is a simple one. To create a trusted online marketplace that is open to all, simple to use, and gives independent businesses and their local customers the tools to connect and shop. Everything Magaroo does is about helping and supporting businesses and their customers. They, after all, are the beating heart of the local community. And along the way, keeping it local is pretty good for the planet as well!
The Magaroo team needed something fresh, just like the produce some of their customers deliver, this is why they came to us. From our first meeting we hit it off, collaborating on brand names, straplines, colours, photography and we let the brand naturally evolve. We ensured that the foundations were in place regarding messaging and tone of the brand, then we used this is as the fuel for the visual ID development. The brand reflects the management team and their personalities, but it also feels open, honest and grounded.
The platform is growing fast and we continue to work with Magaroo on all aspects of their marketing from design to film and photo. We look forward to releasing the ‘MagaMakers’ film series telling the stories of some of the growers behind the counters.
